Cookie notice
This site is deliberately thin on tracking. Here is exactly what is stored, and how to change it.
What is stored
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| fa_ck | Browser storage (localStorage), not a cookie | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential storage, so the banner does not reappear on every page | Until you clear your browser storage |
| wordpress_logged_in_[hash] | Cookie | Keeps a signed-in administrator signed in. Never set for ordinary visitors | Session, or 14 days with “remember me” |
| wordpress_test_cookie | Cookie | Checks that your browser accepts cookies. Set on the login screen only | Session |
| wp-settings-[id] | Cookie | Stores admin interface preferences. Signed-in users only | 1 year |
What is not here: no analytics, no advertising, no social pixels, no embedded video and no third-party fonts. Typefaces and images are served from this domain, so loading a page does not call out to anyone else.
Why the banner exists
The quote form carries a security token that stops automated submissions. Because the site stores your choice about that, the banner asks first and records the answer. Rejecting non-essential storage leaves the site fully working — there is nothing non-essential to switch off.
How to change your choice
- Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to reopen the banner.
- Clear site data for this domain in your browser settings to remove the stored choice.
- Blocking all cookies still leaves the pages readable; only signing in to the admin area would stop working.

Cookies. This site runs on the minimum it needs: a security token for the quote form, a session cookie only if you sign in, and a note of this choice stored in your browser. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking. Read the cookie notice.
